I personally feel you should choose a song with the greatest meaning to your relationship, the song should reflect how you feel about each other and although "I will always love you" may seem the perfect song, there has got to be something more deeper and intimate than that surely?!

Songs trigger memories of the past and present so choosing a song is extremely important as whenever you hear this song you are going to think of your wedding day, holding your new husband or your new wife close to you, smelling their perfume or aftershave and feeling their skin against yours. That memory is a truly treasured one so you should pick a song to match the intensity of the moment. Many churches will allow you to play a tune, but this has to be checked with your venue and what type of music allowed, and how loud it is allowed to be played etc. After the ceremony the real fun and boogying begins at the wedding reception.

One of the great tips I like is to make a checklist, sit down and think of everything that needs to be done a few weeks before the planning starts, so if you forget anything you have a few weeks to make sure everything is on the list, an even bigger tip is not to loose the list!!! Not to mention make sure that you stick to your budget as weddings can be very expensive but they can also cost a lot less if you do proper planning and budgeting.
